GINZA SIXにあるStarbucks Reserve Barは、ついつい足を運んでしまう場所の一つ。
それは美味しいコーヒーをお客さんと対話しながら提供するというサービスがとても心地いいからです。
いつもスタッフが楽しげに仕事をしているので、見ているこちらも楽しくなります。
僕は社会人始めに接客業をしていたこともあり、お店に入るとつい「ここはお客様にどの様なサービスを提供するのか？」ということにいつも興味が向きます。
以前はホテルや外車ディーラー、高級不動産などの接客スタイルを研究対象として見ていたのですが、最近はこのスタバの様に、サービスのクオリティがとても高い日常使いのお店が増えていて面白いです。
日本人が提供するサービスは世界的にとてもクオリティが高いと思うのですが、一部の国では過度なサービスとして敬遠されることもあり、両手広げて日本のサービスが受け入れられるわけではないそうです。
文化的にサービスの価値が世界各地で異なるのはとても面白いところですが、日本が世界でやっていく時に陥りがちな価値観の相違という問題がそこにはあります。
押し付けでは受け入れてくれなし、地域の民族性と価値観、ルールを理解する必要があります。なんだか優等生のようなこと言っていますが。
今は地球単位で考える必要がある時代ですから、お互いに尊重できる価値観の認め合いが大切です。そうすれば少しは戦争も少なくなるのかもしれない。
スタバ一杯でここまで考えてしまうのは過ぎたような気がしますが、いつもこんな感じで余計なことを考えてしまうのです。
一種の職業病のようなものでしょうか？
これがまた面白いと感じるから困ったものです。
それにしても久しぶりのブログ。

こうして投稿するのは、今は幻となった楽天ラウンジでショッピングソムリエをやっていた時以来ですが、いろいろ最初はつかれるものですね。
継続してやっている人達は本当にスゴイなと、尊敬します。
Starbucks Reserve Bar located in GINZA SIX is one of those places you end up making your way to. Its lavish service offers an opportunity to have piquant coffee all the while conversing with customers. The dedicated staffs who are always working delightfully will bring a smile to your face. I worked in the service industry in the initial days of my working life, and every time I walk into a store, I always consider attentively the kind of service offered to its customers. I have observed the style of service offered at hotels, imported car dealers, and luxury real estate, for research purposes and I am delighted to have noticed the recent increase in the number of everyday stores that offer exceptionally high quality service such as Starbucks.
I believe the service offered in Japan is recognized worldwide for its exceptionally high quality. However, this type of service high quality service is avoided in some countries as it is considered excessive and therefore, it is not welcome with both arms. Although the cultural disparity of the value of service in different parts of the world is fascinating, Japan is often prone to facing issues that result from differences in values when expanding on a global scale.
It is crucial to gain an understanding of the values and customs of various ethnicities without being imposing (this sounds like something an honor student would say). Given that we live in the Global Era, the acknowledgement and respect for different values is more than ever paramount. This way, maybe there would be fewer wars. I feel like I have contemplated a little bit too much about these superfluous issues over a cup of Starbucks, but I always do so. I wonder if this is some sort of occupational disorder. It is intriguing, and this again, is an issue.
